Department 9 - Rabbits & Guinea Pigs Section 1 - Rabbits Chairperson Ben Work, 223 Meadow Lane, Quarryville, PA 717-786-4457 Judging Wednesday, 10 AM RULES 1. All rabbits are to be judged according to the latest standard of perfection of the American Rabbit Breeders Association. 2. ENTRY: A. Deadline for entries is September 5, 2008. Entries should be given to the chairperson before then. B. All persons should enter their rabbits on Tuesday evening between 6:30 and 9 PM. C. All exhibitors must have a completed and signed Animal Owner or Caretakers Verification of Veterinarian Client Patient Relationship form that will be collected at check-in.3. The latest rules of the American Rabbit Breeders Association will govern. 4. Classes (one rabbit per class) * 1. Junior Doe under 6 pounds * 2. Senior Doe 6 pounds and over * 3. Junior Buck under 6 pounds * 4. Senior Buck 6 pounds and over * 5. Meat Pen (3 rabbits, each 5 pounds or over) 5. No Does with litters will be permitted to be shown. 6. Meat Pens exhibited by youth may be sold at the Livestock Sale on Friday evening. Rabbits to be sold must be designated at the time of entry.
